It's that time of year again.

At the very earliest showings of spring each year, the United Arts Club invites its Artist Members, and distinguished non-members, to exhibit small- to medium-sized works on paper.

There are a couple of reasons for doing this: the subdued natural light of January and February are ideal for the display of works on paper, the brighter light of summer being harder on the paper, inks, and other media; and, of course, the relatively low cost of the works - often in limited editions - means that they will suit the pockets of even the skimpiest buyers.
